Traditional entertainment given new twist
There's another chance this evening (30 Sep) to witness the revival of a historic form of variety entertainment.
Rushen Heritage Trust is hosting the second of its 'Pierrot' shows at Port St Mary Town Hall from 6.30 to 8.30pm
A group of Manx performers will lay on plays, songs, dances and comedy sketches.
The 'Pierrot's' were originally clowns who donned iconic black and white uniforms and were a staple of the entertainment circuit on the Island during the 1900's.
The RHT was keen to revive the tradition but with a modern twist and and it has also put on an exhibition at the event
