OCSIA made aware of numerous incidents
Scammers are targeting residents over health-related issues such as Covid jabs and lateral flow tests, according to Police.
The constabulary says the Office of Cyber Security and Information Assurance (OCSIA) has been made aware of numerous incidents.
Members of the public are being told if they're contacted by someone claiming to be from Manx Care or their GP asking for payments for appointments or assessments to not give financial details out.
Officers are reminding residents Manx Care or GP surgeries would never ask for payments via phone, email or letter and treatment would be free at the point of care.
