Coastal gales threaten to halt Heysham journeys

Tonight's and Saturday's sailings to Heysham and back are in doubt due to adverse weather conditions.

Coastal gales are forecast for the weekend ahead, meaning each of the Ben-my-Chree's journeys are subject to possible disruption or cancellation.

That includes this evening's 7:45pm sailing, and all of tomorrow's (8:45am and 5:30pm) up until the return from Heysham in the early hours of Sunday morning.

The vessel master will make a decision on tonight's sailings by 5:30pm, and Saturday morning's by 7am tomorrow, and
