Laxey singer will critique celebrities
A Manx singer and West End star has signed up to take part in an ITV special billed as the ‘ultimate musical theatre masterclass’.
Samantha Barks, who hails from Laxey, will join a panel of critics for the All Star Musicals programme which will be shown later this year.
Alongside Elaine Paige, and Hamilton star Trevor Dion Nicholas, she’ll critique six celebrities who will perform an iconic musical number.
The trio, and host John Barrowman, will also perform together in the show’s opening number.
