Castletown residents and businesses are being invited to contribute to a review of road safety and congestion on Malew Street and the Crofts.
The problem was identified at a recent meeting of the town's commissioners which was attended by police, the fire and rescue service, members of the Department of Infrastructure and Castletown MHK Richard Ronan.
There are particular concerns for pedestrian safety in the area and the department's Highways Division is now reviewing the situation to try and find the best traffic management plan for the streets.
Anyone who would like have an input to the review should send in their comments or suggestions to the Highways Division, Department of Infrastructure, Sea Terminal Building, Douglas IM1 2RF, or by e-mail to networkplanning.doi@gov.im.
The closing date for submissions is May 16 and you can get more information on the scheme by calling 686656.
