At the same time, a safety campaign will focus on preventing under-18s getting hold of them.
This year's campaign is being run jointly by the Office of Fair Trading and the Island's emergency services, who are urging the public to follow the firework code.
Statistics show that around half of all those injured by fireworks each year in the UK are under the age of 18.
The OFT says although local sellers are usually responsible, growing numbers of people buying products over the internet.
