Having Prince Edward, the Earl of Wessex, opening next month's Commonwealth Youth Games will add enormously to the prestige of the event.
That's the belief of organising committee chairman Geoff Karran.
Prince Edward is the vice patron of the games and Mr Karran is delighted he is coming to the Isle of Man for the start of the event:
