Almost 7% of services failed to operate during May
One in 14 flights operating through Ronaldsway Airport were cancelled last month.
Only Humberside Airport had a worst record for the average number of cancellations in the British Isles during May.
According to the Civil Aviation Authority of the 827 services scheduled, in and out of the Isle of Man, 56 failed to take off.
This meant almost seven per cent of flights were cancelled: in comparison Gatwick and Heathrow had two per cent while Manchester suffered one per cent.
Humberside Airport had 10 per cent of its 369 services failing to operate.
