Applicant vacuum for exciting' post
There's a final chance for council house tenants in Ramsey to apply for a role shaping the future of the town's public sector housing.
Ramsey Commissioners advertised for a tenant representative to sit on its housing committee, in a newsletter sent out to 550 homes in December.
Applications are due to close later today (27 Jan).
So far, there have been no takers for what commissioners describe as an 'exciting' role, representing tenants at monthly meetings.
The voluntary post, which pays an allowance, was formed by the authority to give tenants a say in the way their housing is run.
