July meeting should have sorted matter
Douglas East MHK Chris Robertshaw believes the late cancellation of Rally Isle of Man will be remembered as an Isle of Man Government failure.
Problems between government departments and rally organisers first surfaced in July.
Mr Robertshaw called for an emergency Tynwald debate which didn't take place as a meeting between all involved was arranged for a few days later.
He says that meeting should have led to everything being put in place for a successful event.
