Road blocked due to fallen tree

Services are currently assisting to clear the carriageway

Police are warning of a fallen down tree in the area of the Hawthorn pub on the Douglas to Peel road.

They've confirmed one carriageway is blocked but services are in the process of clearing the road.

Police are also urging people to ensure any loose items are tied down or put away.

It follows an amber warning from the MET office with severe winds of up to 65mph likely overnight.
