David Quirk responds to commissioners reaction to 'abusive' letter
Onchan MHK David Quirk says if the village commissioners feel threatened or abused by a letter he wrote, they should refer him to the Island’s parliamentary watchdog.
Yesterday, the board revealed it had sought legal advice over the letter, with members claiming Mr Quirk was acting outside his powers.
Mr Quirk says he doesn’t know which letter has sparked worries, but says he writes three or four times a month to the board.
He says there are ways to deal with the situation.
