The Director of Public Health says the bird flu outbreak in Suffolk last month doesn't automatically mean we're any closer to a flu pandemic.
A report looking into its causes was released by the United Kingdom's Department of Environment, Food and Rural Affairs yesterday.
It concluded wild birds 'may have been' the main source of infection and that poor bio-security was practised by some staff on the farm.
Dr Parameshwaren Kishore (pictured) says nothing has changed:
DoI facing 'huge problem' over Peel Marina silt
No injuries in light aircraft accident at Ronaldsway
DoI to move to monthly dredging in order to protect harbour depth
