No charges against nursing home staff
A 95 year-old Ramsey woman died of natural causes, an inquest has been told.
Glenda Critchley was a resident at Beaconsfield nursing home where she passed away in December 2015.
Mrs Critchley, who was originally from Blackburn, died from aspiration pneumonia.
Police were alerted three days later and, in the immediate aftermath of her death, a number of home staff were suspended as a 'precautionary measure' but no charges were brought.
As he recorded his verdict, coroner of Inquests John Needham offered his condolences to Mrs Critchley’s family.
