Chris Brannigan says engagement at party conferences proving useful
Government's Executive Director of External Relations says the level of engagement with the UK Government negates the need for a Manx office in London.
Chris Brannigan has faced questions from a Tynwald committee about whether it would benefit the Isle of Man to have a base in Westminster.
Giving evidence, Mr Brannigan said going out to big occasions, such as party conferences, yielded better results.
And it avoided the substantial cost of an office in England's capital:
