Ramsey police are looking for two men who took a bicycle from the front garden of a property on Waterloo Road.
The Blue Ridge mountain bike was taken at about 11.50pm on Sunday.
Two men were seen making off with the bike, towards Albert Road.
The householder chased them, but they got away.
Yesterday the bike was discovered and recovered by patrolling police officers, in Close Ollay, Lezayre Estate, Ramsey.
PC Mark Hempsall says it's understood the two suspects were seen shouting abuse at a passing motorist in the area of Waterloo Road.
If you're the vehicle driver, or were in the area at the time, call Ramsey police on 812234.
