Tim Johnston welcomes investment in accommodation on the Island
The enterprise minister says he's optimistic but not complacent following a 'challenging' period for the tourism sector.
Tim Johnston told Manx Radio there's been a five percent increase in visitor numbers since pre-Covid.
Data released last year shows some areas of the accommodation sector had occupancy levels of below 60 percent in summer 2024.
But Minister Johnston says there are now signs of growth:
