Report recommends new approach
A report on substance misuse in the Isle of Man goes before Tynwald next week.
It examines issues with alcohol, prescription drugs and illicit substances here, and how future government policy should be shaped to deal with these.
The document also recommends looking into the medical use of cannabis and the decriminalisation of small amounts of the drug for personal use.
Chief Minister Howard Quayle was involved with setting up this research while he was health and social care minister.
