Two weeks left on bill consultation
Further public input is being sought to help make new Manx legislation regarding sexual offences fit for the 21st century.
The Sexual Offences and Obscene Publications Bill is currently out to public consultation, and seeks to replace laws which have been in place since the early 1990s.
Dr Alex Allinson MHK is one of the members of the Department of Home Affairs tasked with bringing the bill forward.
He says one of the key areas of it is to do with modern technology and its use in relation to sexual offences:
