Nothing at PPU closed yet
Health Minister David Ashford insists 'nothing has yet closed' in regards to the private patients' unit (PPU) at Noble's Hospital.
It was announced last week that a major revamp of the unit was going to take place, seeing it temporarily out of use for at least a year.
The DHSC stated all from the ward will be reassigned to similar roles within the hospital, with one consultant tendering his resignation over the matter.
This morning in Tynwald, Mr Ashford told the court the public deserve better than what is currently offered.
