The head of one of Britain’s largest trade unions says the organisation has grown rapidly over the past few years.
Mike Clancy, Prospect’s general Secretary, was on the Island this week as the union opened new offices in Victoria Street in Douglas.
Mr Clancy says the union has gone from strength to strength, and the new premises reflect its recent success.
He says there are a number of reasons people seem more interested in joining trade unions, given the economic climate over the past few years:
RPU will be 'out in force' to stop drink and drug drivers
Ramsey Commissioners to spend more than £8k on deckchairs and storage unit
