Property scam viewed more than 200 times

People searching for a new property to rent are being advised not to fall for a scam advert. 

A house in Berry Woods Avenue in Douglas is being advertised on Manx.net by someone called Gwen – it's been viewed more than 200 times.

However the Office of Cyber Security and Information Assurance says this is a scam based on a genuine rental from some time ago. 

Prospective tenants are being urged not to hand over any money - officers say the property agents for the existing rental have been made aware.
