Chair Hannah Mackenzie says its 'important' for people to express their view

Port Erin Commissioners is urging people to respond to the Department of Infrastructure's 20mph consultation.

The local authority says it will be lodging its own response but would like to hear from residents and whether they are for or against as well as any 'unique' situations which might affect them.

Copies of the consultation can be found at its offices on Bridson Street and at the George Herdman Library in the village - any responses must be submitted by 22 December to the DOI.

Chair Hannah Mackenzie believes it's 'really important' for people to have their say and now is the time for people to speak up and 'hopefully' make a difference to their area.
