Police are urging people to 'be alert, not alarmed' after a terrorist attack in Liverpool last week.

Officers are encouraging residents to report suspicious behaviour.

It follows a taxi explosion outside the Liverpool Women's Hospital on Remembrance Sunday.

They say whilst the Island is a 'very safe place' recent events in England are a reminder that everyone can play a part in ensuring the safety of the local community.
