Current limit could be modified
The legal noise limit for vehicle exhausts on the Isle of Man could be brought down.
The Department of Infrastructure has confirmed to Manx Radio that it's considering 'modifying' the current 100 decibel limit.
It's thought changes could be made to legislation to bring the limit down to a level deemed 'acceptable'.
Sergeant Charles Maloney from the Eastern Neighbourhood Policing Team says noisy exhausts are a common complaint:
