Road extended to new SPC terminal
Liverpool City Council has applied for planning permission to build its new cruise terminal.
If approved, the proposed £50 million facility will force the Steam Packet out of its existing site at the Pier Head.
Isle of Man-bound ferries will instead berth half a mile north at a new terminal on Princes Dock, estimated to cost £30 million.
The plans also include investment by the Council to extend Leeds Street to the new Steam Packet terminal.
If they are approved, work could begin as soon as Spring 2018.
