Fire officers were on scene for approximately two hours
The Isle of Man Fire and Rescue Service responded to a two-vehicle road traffic collision in the Braddan Bridge area yesterday evening. (6 November)
Emergency services were alerted at approximately 5.50pm and dispatching a pumping appliance, an emergency rescue vehicle, and a duty officer to the scene.
On arrival, fire crews discovered one person trapped in a vehicle due to damage to the door.
Crews were able to quickly extricate the individual, who was found to be uninjured.
Police managed a temporary road closure around the site to ensure public safety.
Fire crews remained on scene for around two hours to ensure vehicle safety and left after the damaged vehicle was recovered.
