Joney Faragher's measure looks to combat period poverty

The MHK behind the plan to make period products available free of charge on the Isle of Man admits her measure has been 'changed drastically' during its passage through the House of Keys.

Joney Faragher's bill passed its clauses stage during this week's sitting.

It aims to make the products available in public toilets, and was originally based on Scottish legislation before changes were introduced to make it 'more flexible' for the Island to administrate.
