Questions for Economic Development Minister
The Island has a 'golden opportunity' to capitalise on its tourism industry.
That's according to South Douglas MHK Kate Beecroft, who will raise the point when the House of Keys sits next Tuesday (2nd Feb).
She'll ask the Economic Development Minister what his Department is doing to grow the tourist sector.
Mrs. Beecroft says recent debates about the horse trams - as well as other factors - mean it's the ideal time to consider the issue:
Planning application for onshore wind farm still being developed
Motorcyclist suffered fatal chest injuries in crash
Trial for trio accused of producing Class A drugs to Island
Too early for 'direct action' over cost-of-living concerns says chief minister
