
A controversial and long-discussed issue is back on the agenda in Peel this evening - what to do with the town's sewage.
A public meeting on the matter has been called by Captain of the Parish of German John Kennaugh, at the behest of residents.
He says the latest site proposed for a sewage works has provoked widely differing reactions: (play audio)
The meeting at the Corrin Hall starts at 8pm.
Scheduled to be in attendance are Water and Sewerage Authority Chairman John Houghton MHK, Peel MHK Tim Crookall and the town's commissioners.
