A pedestrian has died following a collision with a vehicle on Whitebridge Road in the early hours of this morning.
The emergency services were called to the scene at 3.30am, with the pedestrian pronounced dead at Noble's Hospital an hour later.
The Isle of Man Constabulary is investigating the incident, and has confirmed the driver involved is assisting with its enquiries.
Officers say their thoughts are with the friends and family of the deceased.
They're also urging the public to refrain from public judgement or assumption to show respect to the friends and family at this time.
The road reopened shortly after 10am.
