Reports courier service to withdraw from Island and handover operations
The Isle of Man Post Office has responded to reports that courier company Evri is to leave the Island and hand over its operations to the business.
It is claimed Evri is in "advanced negotiations" to withdraw from the Island, a move consumer watchdog Courier Checker says could put jobs at risk.

Such an agreement is yet to be officially confirmed.
However, the Isle of Man Post Office has told Manx Radio it "actively considers commercial opportunities that support the long-term sustainability of the organisation and deliver wider economic benefit to the Isle of Man".
"This can", it adds "include discussions with delivery and logistics partners from time to time".
"These discussions are commercially sensitive and, in line with normal business practice, Isle of Man Post Office does not comment on commercial matters."
In a brief statement, Evri says: “There is no change to the way we service our customers on the Isle of Man.”
