The first of a new series of four lessons for parents on how to talk to their children about drugs and alcohol will be held at Rushen Primary School this evening.
The sessions will be taken by Carolyn Shipstone from Care for the Family, Constable Steve Stanley and Drug and Alcohol Liason Officer Orla O'Donoghue.
At previous lessons parents have shared stories about their own experiences, as well as listening to advice from the professionals.
Ms O'Donoghue says the classes will touch on a number of issues (play attached audio file):
In the coming weeks sessions will take place at Scoill Ree Gorree, Ballacottier School and Peel Clothworkers' School.
