Parade organiser rallies the troops

An appeal is being made to locate Manx military personnel.

They are being asked to lead the Armed Forces Day parade this summer, when the Island will remember those who have served, and are serving, their country.

Chairman of the event committee Brigadier Norman Butler is sure the homecoming troops will be given a warm welcome (play audio file):

Any Manx men and women serving in the armed forces who want to be involved, or family members with their details, are asked to contact Brigadier Butler on 813338.

Armed Forces Day this year is Sunday, June 26.
