The Isle of Man is committed to giving 0.7 per cent of its gross national income to overseas aid.
But it won't be on time for the UN deadline of 2015.
That's according to Phil Gawne, chairman on the Overseas Aid Committee.
On Friday, representatives from the United Nations Childrens Fund, including UK ambassador Martin Bell OBE, were here to show the committee how its money is being spent.
Last year the commitee donated around £2.2 million pounds in humanitarian aid, which is 0.25 per cent of the gross national income.
