Julie Edge sides with Rob Callister after trademark controversies
The TT brand does need to be protected, according to Julie Edge.
She's sided with her fellow Onchan MHK Rob Callister - who's also a member of the department of economic development.
A number of controversies have hit the headlines after the DED has taken action over organisations breaching trademarking rules.
It was revealed recently by Mr Callister the income generated from licensing had increased from £249,000 in 2012 to £878,000 this year.
Ms Edge is largely in agreement with Mr Callister on the issue - but does have some reservations:
