
The chairman of Onchan Commissioners says the local authority needs tough officers for the tough times it's facing.
At last night's meeting June Kelly resigned from the post of lead member for housing.
She works for the Department of Social Care - which manages local authority housing stock - and says there has been criticism of her.
The department wants to shake up the way public sector housing is run on the Island.
