Deadline 5pm on Tuesday
If you are interested in standing as a candidate in this month’s local authority election you must submit your nomination paper by five o’clock this afternoon (Tuesday).
That’s the deadline for the Island-wide election, which will be held on Thursday April the 28th.
A total of 150 commissioners and councillors are needed to serve 22 town, village, district and parish authorities.
Voting will take place in districts or wards where there is a contest for vacant seats.
Nomination papers and guidance for prospective candidates are available from local authority clerks.
