The Chief Minister says there's no timetable in place regarding potential changes to universal payments.
Allan Bell was quizzed on the issue by West Douglas MHK Chris Thomas, who had tabled all the questions in the House of Keys this morning.
Mr Bell said the Member with responsibility for policy and reform, Chris Robertshaw, was committed to ensuring full consultation with both Tynwald and the general public on the matter and the agenda was being moved forward.
But in response to further questioning from Onchan MHK Peter Karran, he said they would not be rushed in to making very difficult decisions
