The Isle of Man Government has not had specific discussions with the UK Home Office about a separate pathway for migrants in the Isle of Man.

Proposed changes in the UK could see new residents having to wait 10 years instead of five before being able to apply for indefinite leave to remain.

In this week's sitting of the House of Keys, Treasury Minister Chris Thomas was asked whether the Island would be looking to establish its own arrangement.
