No changes to Infant Feeding Team or IVF provision on Island

Manx Care responds to social media speculation

Manx Care says no changes are planned to the support being provided by the Infant Feeding Team.

It follows speculation on social media that it was being ‘discontinued’.

The health body says whilst the location of the team has changed this will not impact on the delivery of services to families.

The Infant Feeding Team will now be based within the health visiting team instead.

Manx Care has also told Manx Radio no changes are being made around IVF referrals and treatments following a decision to reduce the amount of off-Island medical care in this financial year.
