The Department of Health says there’s a new 24-hour helpline for Island patients who are receiving chemotherapy at Clatterbridge Hospital.
The telephone service will let patients talk to nurses about worries or concerns they have over their condition and treatment outside normal working hours.
In the next few weeks, all patients will be issued with a special ‘Alert Card’ containing contact information.
You can call the helpline by dialling 0151 334 1155 and asking for Bleep 5555.
