New CEO feels more can be done to help visually impaired
Society is becoming more aware of disability in general, but people don't fully understand the specific issues faced by people with sensory impairments.
That's the view of the new CEO of charity Sight Matters, Cathryn Bradley.
She recently took over the post from Ian Cooil, who has stepped down after twelve years at the helm.
Ms Bradley, who joined the charity around eighteen months ago after a career in the the Police, believes more can be done to help the visually impaired.
