Hopes target could move from 'good' to 'excellent'
Manx Utilities has given an assurance that water from a new proposed sewage treatment plant would comply with the latest bathing water requirements.
This week the authority has been showcasing its plans for the site at Axnfell Plantation at two public meetings.

He says the target standard is ‘good’ but modelling carried out suggests water from the plant would actually meet the higher ‘excellent’ rating:
