Crutchlow hits out at staff
Island MotoGP rider Cal Crutchlow has hit out at Ronaldsway Airport staff over 'massive' queues in the terminal building.
The star took to Twitter earlier to vent frustration at the delays.
Long lines at the security gate have provoked outcry in recent months, with airport bosses repeatedly advising passengers to turn up earlier for their flights to combat the gridlock.
Crutchlow claimed he had seen exasperated passengers 'fighting', and dozens almost missing an easyJet flight to Gatwick.
He's called on staff to utilise both available baggage scanners, and invest in new trolleys.
@IOMAirport 2 scanners but use 1 of them. More than 8 people working and massive queues again … oh and you need new trolleys. All of them are terrible ! pic.twitter.com/3RddXXSozE
