Motion put forward by Douglas Central MHK
The next House of Keys will have up to three weeks to select a new chief minister.
This week Douglas Central MHK Chris Thomas brought a motion to the house.
He says it's aimed at giving enough time for candidates to argue their policies.
It's something he feels will enable the new administration to make a more informed choice:
Michelle Mone-linked PPE firm liquidated and unlikely to repay £148m
Yellow weather warning for coastal overtopping
Proposed new laws would support homeless people on the Isle of Man
DESC chief officer to retire in 2026
