Over 60% of cancellations down to hospital factors
More than 10,000 surgery offers have been cancelled at Noble's Hospital over the last three years.
Day cases have seen a total of 7,981 offers cancelled, more than 40% of which were down to hospital factors rather than the patient.
For inpatients, 2,071 cancellations have been recorded - around a third of all surgery offers made by the ward.
More than 65% of the operations cancelled in inpatients were as a result of hospital factors.
The figures were revealed following a written question from Onchan MHK Julie Edge at this month's sitting of Tynwald.
