Culture Vannin expanding project this week
Culture Vannin says it's hoping to publish 'a skutch more' oral history recordings in the coming months.
A wide variety of memories, stories and experiences of Manx residents are being documented in an ongoing project by the organisation - and many of them are already available to listen to online.
The oral history project is by no means a new one, it's something that's been carried out by the charity for many years - but Online and Educational Resources Officer James Franklin is gradually opening the interviews up to the public domain.
The organisation made the announcement on social media yesterday (Mon 9), that the project is being given increased attention this week.
