Issue last raised by politicians in 2015
A motion calling for the introduction of voluntary assisted dying on the Isle of Man is set to be brought before Tynwald next week.
Its been five years since the issue was last brought up, and Ramsey MHK Dr Alex Allinson believes that public and political opinion on the matter has since changed.
He explained what the next steps would be, should his motion go forward:

Shoppers in Strand Street were approached by Manx Radio for their comment on the motion calling for assisted dying to be introduced on the Isle of Man.
Whilst the majority of people were in favour of the motion, others were inclined to err on the side of caution:
