DoI says work to be done in two phases
A Douglas East MHK says she remains unconvinced tram tracks will be relaid for the entire length of Douglas promenade.
Clare Barber also sits on a Tynwald committee which has been tasked with looking at the redevelopment scheme.
The Department of Infrastructure has recently announced it would be stopping the horse tram tracks at the war memorial for now as it aims to complete the project by Easter next year.
A single line from there to the Sea Terminal would then be added at a later date, the DoI has claimed, but hasn't specified when that would be.
Ms Barber is not too optimistic about that:
